Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking a Phlebotomist I to draw blood and prepare specimens for lab testing in Fort Worth, TX. You will interact with patients, explain procedures, and maintain accurate records in a professional environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy training, and at least six months of experience; certification is preferred in some states. Flexibility for weekends/ overtime is expected in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Minimum of 6 months experience REQUIRED. One( ) years phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and create an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment and keep accurate records.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
