Job summary

Talentify seeks a Phlebotomist I for the Torrington, CT location to draw blood and prepare specimens for lab testing in a patient-facing role. You will explain procedures and ensure accuracy and safety while maintaining a compassionate approach.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), phlebotomy training, and prior experience, with emphasis on data entry and customer service in a healthcare or service setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of phlebotomy experience
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must

Responsibilities

• Represents the face of the company to patients who come in and explains procedures.
• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and demonstrates a professional, trustworthy demeanor.
• Performs duties under the direction of the area supervisor and maintains required records and documentation.
