Job summary

TalentBurst, located in Fort Myers, FL, seeks a Phlebotomist I for an 8-month assignment with early morning shifts including weekends. You will draw blood, prepare specimens for lab testing, and maintain accurate records while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience required; 1+ years preferred.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure a safe, accurate collection.
• Maintain records and documentation related to draws.
• Provide friendly, professional patient interaction and confidentiality.
