Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification from an approved agency (ASCP/NHA/ASPT) or MA certification preferred.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills and ability to learn multiple systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality blood samples using venous, capillary, arterial, or line collections.
• Respond to medical emergencies and assist in patient care.
• Interact with patients and healthcare staff to ensure accuracy and satisfaction.
• Handle specimen labeling, transport, and documentation; assist with training.
• Ability to travel to other Mayo Clinic locations as needed.
