Job summary

GTT is seeking a Phlebotomist I for 1st shift in Bangor, ME. This contract role runs 2 months with a 6:00 AM – 11:00 AM schedule, onsite only. The PSR I will collect blood samples and prepare them for lab testing while maintaining patient confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities include accurate daily activities, safe environment, and proper records. Requires high school diploma; phlebotomy training/experience preferred; benefits include health plans and 401k.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
