Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist I for Meridian, ID, working Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with rotational weekends. The role involves collecting specimens, entering data, and ensuring accurate order verification and billing compliance.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; medical training in MA/Paramedic is preferred, and phlebotomy certification is preferred in some states. One year of phlebotomy experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training in MA or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Enter data accurately using lab systems and verify orders.
• Navigate computer systems and enter billing information correctly.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies.
