Responsibilities

• Obtain quality blood samples using venous, capillary, arterial, and line methods.
• Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and codes.
• Interact with patients, nurses, providers and other healthcare professionals with professional courtesy.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, handling and transportation of specimens.
• Answer phones and assist with training of students and new employees.
