Job summary

Volt is hiring a Phlebotomist I in Ohio for a full-time, 3-month contract. You will draw blood from patients of all ages, process glucose tests and pap specimens for shipping, and enter data accurately.

The role requires 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience and precise specimen handling. Preferred candidates are detail-oriented with experience in both straight and butterfly needle techniques, ready to work a consistent schedule, and comply with all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with venipuncture and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood from patients of all ages.
• Process glucose tests and prepare pap specimens for shipping.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
