Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Phlebotomist for a Lawndale, NC physician office. The role involves blood draws, specimen handling, labeling, and transport in a busy clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has 6 months venipuncture experience, state phlebotomy certification if required, and strong attention to detail. Training is provided, with 2 weeks of onboarding and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of specimen collection, labeling, processing, and handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture using straight and butterfly needles.
• Collect and store blood and other specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Verify physician orders and match requisitions with tubes.
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens as required by orders.
• Ensure accuracy of labels and requisitions.
• Package specimens for transport while preserving integrity.
• Store specimens at required temperatures and containers.
