Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist I in Folsom, CA, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM with rotational weekends. The role requires a state phlebotomy license where applicable and offers a pay range of $22.20–$24.55 per hour, with potential annual bonus eligibility.

This position emphasizes precise specimen collection and compliant data entry in a fast-paced lab setting. Responsibilities include specimen processing, data entry, and maintaining logs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred and required in CA, NV, WA.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (blood, screens, etc.).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client information.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Handle billing information and collect payments per policy.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, preparation for transport).
• Perform non-patient facing duties (inventory, filing, phones, email).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
