Quest Diagnostics in Daly City, CA is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our team. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotation every third Saturday, 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A state phlebotomy license is required; NHA licenses are not accepted in CA.

Pay range is $27.00-$29.45 per hour, with opportunities for annual bonuses. The position includes comprehensive benefits, career advancement, and a supportive team environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.

Mansioni

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact; enter data accurately.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing information and collect payments following policy.
• Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, transport prep.
• Perform non-patient facing duties: inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, phones, emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and comply with policies.
• Complete training courses timely.
