Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Edmonds, WA, is hiring a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens and support laboratory operations on a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotational weekends. A state phlebotomy license is required, and vaccination may be required with exemptions considered after a conditional offer.

Pay range is $23.15 to $27.60 per hour, with potential annual bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• This position requires a state phlebotomy license.
• Vaccination proof may be required; exemptions reviewed with conditional offer.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in CA/NV/WA.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional medical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client data.
• Navigate computer systems and enter data accurately.
• Enter billing info and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing).
• Perform non-patient duties: inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones, email.
