Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Bellingham, WA seeks a Phlebotomist I to collect specimens, verify orders, and operate lab tech systems. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with rotational weekends. State phlebotomy license required; CA/WA/NV NHA licenses not accepted per policy.

Vaccination proof may be required. High school diploma required; phlebotomy certification preferred. One year phlebotomy experience preferred; customer service experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a state phlebotomy license.
• One year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA per policy.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures.
• Verify test orders and enter data accurately.
• Navigate lab systems and billing processes as required.
• Assist with non-patient duties including inventory and sanitation.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and complete training timely.
