Pride Health in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a Phlebotomist I to support a healthcare facility. Responsibilities include blood collection, specimen processing, and patient registration, with emphasis on accuracy, quality, and customer service.

The role requires phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, local contract for 5 months.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months' phlebotomy experience; One(+) years preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel between work locations.

Mansioni

• Perform venipuncture, capillary, pediatric, and geriatric blood collections and prepare specimens for testing.
• Verify patient information, ensure accurate specimen labeling, and maintain required documentation.
• Provide professional and compassionate patient care while explaining collection procedures.
• Process clinical and forensic specimens following established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment.
