Job summary

Talentify in Draper, UT is seeking a Phlebotomist I to support blood collection and specimen handling in a fast-paced clinical laboratory.

You will perform venipuncture, label and process specimens, and ensure proper storage while following safety protocols and physician orders.

The role requires 1–2 years of venipuncture experience, strong customer service, and accuracy in data entry; pediatric draws are a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience doing blood draws and labeling specimens.
• 1–2 years venipuncture in fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Geriatric patient draws experience.
• Good customer service.
• Specimen processing skills.
• Pediatrics experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing duties, troubleshooting, training and workflow improvements.
• Collects and stores specimens; explains venipuncture clearly and courteously.
• Label, centrifuge, package and transport specimens per test order and protocol.
• Verify test requisitions match scripts and maintain specimen integrity.
• Answer calls and read laboratory results to respond to inquiries.
