Job summary

Manpower Associates is seeking a Phlebotomist I to join our healthcare team in Apopka, FL. You will collect blood specimens, prepare samples for testing, and deliver compassionate service to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 6 months phlebotomy experience, strong data entry skills, and the ability to work independently, weekends and overtime as needed. This contingent role offers weekend hours with potential pathway for hire.

Responsibilities

  • Collect blood specimens from patients using established phlebotomy procedures.
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while creating a comfortable patient experience.
  • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing duties.
  • Accurately maintain required records, documentation, and patient information.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to complete daily tasks.

Location: Apopka, FL

Pay Rate: $19.85 - $21.26 per hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contingent with potential pathway for hire

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 6:30am-3:30pm; Every Saturday, 6:30am-12:30pm

What We're Looking For
  • A current, up-to-date resume
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience required
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred
  • Keyboard and data entry experience required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on-call shifts as needed
  • Ability to meet compliance requirements
  • Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
