Job description

Our Client, a Medical Research company, is looking for a Phlebotomist I for their Hamilton Township, NJ location.

Responsibilities:

1. The Phlebotomist I represents the face of the company to patients, whether as part of their health routine or for insights into health decisions.
2. The Phlebotomist I draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
3. Creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
4. Demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
5. Under the supervision of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time, maintains a safe and professional environment, and ensures proper documentation.
6. Maintains organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
3. Phlebotomy certification preferred.
4. Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
5. Customer service experience in retail or service environments preferred.
6. Keyboard/data entry experience required.
