Job Title: Phlebotomist I

Duration: 6 months

Location: NJ_ALRV_2275 NJ-33, Hamilton Township, NJ 08690

Shift: Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM; every 3rd Saturday 8:00AM-12:00PM at a nearby patient service center

Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, assisting with health routines and health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing following established procedures.
• The PSR I maintains patient trust by explaining procedures and drawing blood safely and accurately.
• The PSR I demonstrates leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy.
• Under supervision, performs daily activities accurately and timely.
• Maintains a safe, professional environment.
• Performs specimen collection and processing duties confidently, following established practices.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation.
• Promotes a positive image and demonstrates organizational commitment.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, based on staffing needs.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, Washington).

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; 1+ years preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
