Job Responsibilities
- Ensure total operation compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., FDA SOPs, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
- Maintain high customer service standards and positive donor experiences.
- Keep work area clean and professional.
- Review donor identification and maintain confidentiality.
- Set up and prepare equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis.
- Label units and samples accurately.
- Perform venipunctures and plasma collection safely and effectively.
- Operate automated plasmapheresis machines, respond to alarms, and document issues.
- Monitor donor conditions, ensuring safety and plasma quality.
- Handle biohazardous waste and maintain equipment.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance of machines.
- Report unsafe situations to management.
- Manage inventory and replenish supplies.
- Assist in troubleshooting machine alarms and perform quality checks.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- State-specific certification or licensing if required.
- At least 3 months of experience in healthcare preferred.
- Completed training documentation for duties.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to document accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
- Effective communication skills in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible hours.
