Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Draw 15-25 blood samples per day.

• Process routine specimens as needed.
• Document patient information in the EMR.

Shift: 800am-500pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and patient‑focused Phlebotomist I to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on phlebotomy experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work independently in a physician office setting. This role primarily supports an OB/GYN practice and offers the opportunity for contract‑to‑hire based on performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following standard procedures.
• Collect approximately 15-25 blood draws per day.
• Accurately label, process, and prepare specimens for transport.
• Ensure patient identification and specimen integrity at all times.
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations.
• Perform routine specimen processing as needed.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work independently while delivering excellent customer service to patients and providers.

• Standing duration varies throughout the shift.
• 2-3 weeks of onsite training provided.
