Title: Phlebotomist I

Location: FL_XQQ_11505 Palmbrush Trail, Bradenton FL 34202

Duration: 6+ months

Shift Schedule:

1. Tuesday: 6:30am - 3:30pm (1hr lunch)
2. Wednesday: 10am - 2pm
3. Thursday: 10am - 2pm
4. Friday: 6:30am - 3:30pm (1hr lunch)
5. Saturday: 7am - 11am

Description:

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients, whether they are visiting as part of routine health checks or for critical health decisions. The PSR I draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing, adhering to established practices and procedures.

With direct patient contact, the PSR I fosters trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and drawing blood skillfully, safely, and accurately. The role emphasizes leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information.

Under the supervision of the area manager, the PSR I performs daily tasks accurately and punctually, maintains a safe and professional environment, and handles both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to protocols. Maintaining proper records and demonstrating organizational commitment are essential, along with promoting a positive image to patients, staff, and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience required; over 1 year preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service environments is preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience mandatory.
