Responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations (FDA, OSHA, CLIA, GMP).
2. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive donor experience.
3. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area.
4. Reviewing donor identification and confidentiality.
5. Preparing equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis procedures.
6. Labeling samples accurately.
7. Executing venipunctures and plasma collection safely and effectively.
8. Operating automated plasmapheresis machines, responding to alarms, and documenting events.
9. Monitoring donor conditions for safety and quality of plasma.
10. Disposing of biohazardous waste following safety protocols.
11. Performing routine calibration and maintenance of equipment.
12. Reporting unsafe conditions to management.
13. Managing inventory and supplies.
14. Troubleshooting machine alarms and performing quality controls.
15. Performing additional related tasks as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Relevant certifications or licenses as per state requirements.
• Experience in healthcare or related education preferred.
• Ability to perform venipunctures and document accurately.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
