Job summary

PAML, a Labcorp company, seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Salem, OR team. You will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, and support data entry and patient service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6+ months phlebotomy experience, and an accredited phlebotomy certification. Flexibility for overtime and strong communication are essential. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency may be required.
• Able to pass a standardized color vision test.
• Flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Qualified to perform moderately complexity testing as defined by CLIA.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collecting payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
