Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 1475 Mount Hood Avenue, Woodburn, OR 97071. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Work schedule is Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with rotating weekends may be required. Opportunities for growth within Labcorp are available and benefits are provided for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
