Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Aberdeen, WA team. This role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, along with specimen handling and data entry. You will travel to additional sites as needed and provide exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with potential overtime. A valid WA phlebotomy license is required; 1+ year of phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Washington State phlebotomy license.
• Preferred 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.
• Laboratory or Labcorp experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately and timely in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
