Job summary

Labcorp in Ponca City, OK (74601) is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. The role requires collecting specimens via venipuncture and capillary methods, data entry, and customer service in a clinical setting.

The position offers a Monday–Thursday schedule 8:00am–5:00pm, with potential overtime and occasional Saturdays. Travel to additional sites may be required, with a path toward growth within Labcorp's network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or approved training program from an accredited agency
• Ability to pass a color blindness test
• Flexibility to work overtime
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
