Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to collect, process, and deliver specimens for diagnostic testing, transfusions, or research. You will work in a fast-paced lab environment, maintain phlebotomy trays and outpatient draw stations, and ensure accurate handling from pediatric to geriatric patients in line with HIPAA and the hospital mission.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, valid CPR/BLS, color vision screening within 30 days, and prefer

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification within 30 days of hire or by end of orientation.
• Color blind test/screen within 30 days of hire.
• One year related experience or training preferred.
• Phlebotomy Technician (PBT ASCP) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, process, and deliver specimens to the Laboratory for testing.
• Maintain phlebotomy trays and outpatient draw station (restocking supplies, cleanliness, etc.).
• Properly dispose of used sharps and other bio-hazardous waste.
• Function with patients from newborn to geriatric.
• Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security regulations and maintain professional relationships.
