Job summary

Lourdes Health System in Lourdes, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist for our on-site lab operations. This role focuses on collecting and processing patient specimens, performing tests, and ensuring accurate sample preparation in line with lab protocols.

The position requires formal phlebotomy training, ASCP/NHA/AMT certification preferred, and strong customer service and time-management skills. Shift is 3rd with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Job Summary

Adhere to correct policy and procedures in carrying out routine tasks. Collects and processes patient specimens for testing in adherence with laboratory protocols. Perform laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases. Prepare samples/specimens for producing accurate and reliable results by following collection procedure.

Required Experience

Previous customer service experience with demonstrated ability to perform detailed clerical work. Previous experience working as a phlebotomist in a medical setting preferred. Good interpersonal and time management skills.

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Training / Certification / Licensure

Formal phlebotomy training required. ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

Hourly Rate: $18.89 - $27.81The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
