Virtua Health is seeking a part-time phlebotomist to join our patient-centered laboratory team. You will collect and process specimens, ensure accurate labeling, and maintain strict adherence to collection and safety protocols.

You'll need a high school diploma, formal phlebotomy training, and ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred. Prior customer service and strong interpersonal/time-management skills are highly valued.

• Previous customer service experience with demonstrated ability to perform detailed clerical work.
• Previous experience working as a phlebotomist in a medical setting preferred.
• Good interpersonal and time management skills.

Job Summary

Adhere to correct policy and procedures in carrying out routine tasks. Collects and processes patient specimens for testing in adherence with laboratory protocols. Perform laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases. Prepare samples/specimens for producing accurate and reliable results by following collection procedure.

Required Experience

Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Training / Certification / Licensure

Formal phlebotomy training required. ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

Hourly Rate

Hourly Rate: $18.89 - $27.81 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
