Virtua Health is hiring a part-time phlebotomist in Voorhees, NJ. You will collect patient specimens, perform phlebotomy, and ensure proper labeling and processing following laboratory protocols.

You will provide friendly customer service, handle clerical tasks such as registration and order entry, and support instrument prep and sample shipment.

Evening shift on second shift, with total 17.5 hours per week; hourly rate $18.89–$27.81, with comprehensive benefits for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience with demonstrated ability to perform detailed clerical work.
• Previous experience working as a phlebotomist in a medical setting preferred.
• Good interpersonal and time management skills.

Job Summary:

Adhere to correct policy and procedures in carrying out routine tasks. Collects and processes patient specimens for testing in adherence with laboratory protocols. Perform laboratory tests including pre- and post-analytic phases. Prepare samples/specimens for producing accurate and reliable results by following collection procedure.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Training / Certification / Licensure:

• Formal phlebotomy training required.
• ASCP, NHA or AMT certification preferred.

Hourly Rate: $18.89 - $27.81

The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant's experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
