Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist - 1st Shift in Meriden, CT for a 3-month contract. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens, and communicating with patients in a fast-paced clinical setting. Onsite work is required with a 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM schedule and every other Saturday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The position requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification, and at least 6 months of experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
• Certified Phlebotomist credential required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
