Job summary

Kittitas Valley Healthcare in Ellensburg, WA is seeking a laboratory assistant to perform sample collection, testing, and clerical duties across KVH locations. The role may involve travel between sites and clinic-based patient registration with imaging as needed.

Requirements include High School Diploma, WA MA-P or MA-C license (or CLIA-based MA-P training with MA-P cert within 6 months) and current BLS. Preferred: WA driver’s license, auto liability insurance, phlebotomy experience, ASCP

If in a clinic setting will register patients and obtain x-ray images. This position may require travel among all KVH locations.

Qualifications:

What is required...

• High School Diploma
• Current Washington State MA-P or MA-C license (maintenance required) OR completion of a CLIA Lab Director approved on the job training program with MA-P certification obtained within 6 months of hire
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card (maintenance required)

What is preferred...

• Valid WA State Driver’s License (may be required)
• Valid auto liability insurance (may be required)
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist
• ASCP Certification

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range currently starts at $20.61/hour and goes up to $31.24/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.

FTE: 1.0 (40 hours/week)
