Job summary

Kittitas Valley Healthcare is seeking a part-time laboratory associate to handle sample collection, testing ordering, scheduling, and processing of specimens. The role includes Point of Care testing and clerical duties, with potential patient registration and x-ray in a clinic setting.

This position may require traveling among KVH locations, and a WA MA-P/MA-C license or CLIA-approved on-the-job training with MA-P by 6 months is required along with a current BLS card.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• MA-P or MA-C license (wa state) or completion of CLIA-approved program with MA-P cert within 6 months.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card.

Responsibilities

• Sample collection, ordering tests, scheduling and processing lab specimens.
• Perform Point of Care and waived testing.
• Register patients and obtain x-ray images in clinic settings.
• Travel among KVH locations may be required.

• Valid auto liability insurance (may be required)
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist
• ASCP Certification

Additional Information

Wage: Wage range currently starts at $20.61/hour and goes up to $31.24/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience. This position may qualify for an additional 15% premium in lieu of benefits.

FTE: .5 (20 hours/week)
