Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate PRN Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in phlebotomy. Responsibilities include performing biometric screenings such as venous blood draws, finger sticks, blood pressure checks, and other health assessments at various client locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform venous and capillary blood collection safely and efficiently.
  2. Conduct testing using CardioCheck+ machines with finger-stick samples.
  3. Perform biometric screenings including blood pressure, BMI, body fat measurements, and other health metrics.
  4. Properly label, handle, and transport blood specimens.
  5. Maintain accurate and confidential participant records.
  6. Follow all safety protocols to ensure a sterile environment.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive screenings.
  8. Provide services at various sites as needed (reliable transportation required).
  9. Assist in transporting medical instruments and supplies.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members, management, and clients.
  11. Attend paid training sessions (in-person or via Microsoft Teams). Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  1. Must be 18 years or older.
  2. Flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  3. Willing to work at different sites within the area.
  4. Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
  5. Current licensure as a Phlebotomist (if required).
  6. Proficiency in blood draws and biometric measurements.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  10. CPR certification.
  11. Bilingual abilities are a plus but not required.
Physical Demands:
  1. Extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
  2. Bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Compensation:
  1. Per diem, PRN hourly rate based on state of residence.
  2. Potential to be a Team Lead with an hourly differential.
  3. Paid training for events; onboarding training is non-compensated.
Pay: $26/hour
