Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate PRN Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in phlebotomy. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing biometric screenings, including venous blood draws, finger sticks, blood pressure checks, and other health assessments, at various client locations.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform venous and capillary blood collection efficiently and safely.
  2. Perform testing via CardioCheck+ machines utilizing finger-stick sample collection.
  3. Conduct biometric screenings including blood pressure (automated and manual), BMI, body fat measurements, and other health metrics.
  4. Ensure proper labeling, handling, and transportation of blood specimens.
  5. Maintain accurate and confidential records of participant information.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
  7. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professional team members to provide a comprehensive health screening experience.
  8. Provide services at various screening sites as needed (reliable transportation is required).
  9. Assist with transporting medical instruments and supplies to and from screening events, if necessary.
  10. Facilitate effective communication between team members, management, and clients.
  11. Attend paid training sessions, either in-person or via Microsoft Teams. Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  2. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  3. Willingness to provide services at different sites within the designated area.
  4. Current certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
  5. Current licensure (if required) as a Phlebotomist.
  6. Proficiency in performing blood draws and biometric measurements.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. CPR certification.
  11. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable, but not required.

Physical Demands:

  1. Extended periods of standing, sitting, and walking.
  2. Some bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).

Compensation:

  1. Standard per diem, PRN hourly rate based on your state of residence.
  2. Options to be a Team Lead may be assigned and includes an hourly differential when utilized as such.
  3. Paid training as they are required for an event. Onboarding training is non-compensated.

Pay: $26/hour
