Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist - Floater in Goldsboro, NC to collect blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing across multiple locations. You will follow established procedures, verify patient information, maintain documentation, and uphold patient confidentiality with a patient-centered approach.

The role requires three years of phlebotomy experience, flexibility for varying locations, and a high school diploma. Travel and on-call duties may be required to cover multiple sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training — preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification — preferred; Required in California, Nevada, and Washington

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties.
• Verify patient demographic info and initials post-venipuncture to ensure tubes are labeled correctly.
