Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Float Phlebotomist covering Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester and lower Connecticut. Hours are 7:30am–4:00pm, Monday–Friday, with some Saturday shifts; full-time position eligible for benefits.

You will obtain blood and non-blood specimens, verify requisitions, and maintain a clean, safe patient service center. Travel across multiple Sunrise locations is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Phlebotomy certification required.
• At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple Sunrise locations.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain blood specimens and collect urine, sputum, and throat swabs for testing.
• Verify test requisitions and labels for accuracy before collection.
• Maintain clean, organized patient service center and ensure safety protocols.
