Job summary

Pride Health is currently hiring a Phlebotomist Float to support our client's healthcare team in Kernersville, NC. This role involves collecting blood samples, processing specimens and performing EKGs in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Schedule is Mon - Fri 5 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with possible Saturdays; pay rate ranges from 19 to 22 USD per hour. Contract length is 3+ months, based in Kernersville, NC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2+ years of phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Responsibilities

• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
• Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
