Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist Float for Eureka, CA. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with variable hours, and potential weekends. You will perform blood collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient care.

Preferred candidates have 1+ year phlebotomy experience, prior Labcorp exposure, and Spanish–English bilingual abilities. Travel to additional sites may be required and flexibility is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or CA Phlebotomy license.
• 1+ year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all ages.
• Collect specimens for labs and drug tests.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide excellent patient service and assist across sites.
