As a Float Phlebotomist, you will have the opportunity to quickly gain a vast amount of experience. You will be working with a variety of patients, team members, and clinics/locations. ***Phlebotomist - Sign On bonus $1500 if eligible***

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 scheduled hours vary between 6:00 am - 7:00 pm and 1 Weekend per month

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Work Location: Will cover Boston sites as well as surrounding greater Boston areas including, but not limited to, Medford, Quincy, Norwood, Braintree, Framingham.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
• Must have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record
• Must be at least 21 years’ old

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous LabCorp experience
• 1+ years phlebotomy experience

• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
