Position: Float Phlebotomist

Sign-On Bonus: $1500 if eligible

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 scheduled hours varying between 6:00 am - 7:00 pm, plus 1 weekend per month

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Work Location: Covering Boston sites and surrounding areas including Medford, Quincy, Norwood, Braintree, Framingham.

PSTs may participate in the PST Incentive Plan, earning quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
2. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
3. Accurately enter patient information into the system
4. Process billing information and collect payments as needed
5. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis
6. Maintain logs of patient and specimen information
7. Provide excellent customer service to patients
8. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary
9. Travel to additional sites when required

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training from an accredited agency, or previous phlebotomy experience
• Ability to pass a color blindness test
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
• Minimum age of 21

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous LabCorp experience
• At least 1 year of phlebotomy experience

• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Reliability and flexibility to work overtime if needed
