Job Title: Float Phlebotomist

Incentives and Benefits:

• PST’s may be eligible for the PST Incentive Plan, earning quarterly bonuses based on performance metrics.
• Float Incentive: Additional $1.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement.
• Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO), Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan for employees scheduled to work 20+ hours. Part-time employees scheduled less than 20 hours are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only.

Work Schedule: Must be available to work varying hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, including some weekends and additional days as needed.

Work Locations: Includes, but not limited to: Mesa, Apache Junction, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, and Scottsdale.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
2. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
3. Accurately and promptly enter patient data.
4. Process billing information and collect payments when required.
5. Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
6. Maintain logs of patient and specimen information.
7. Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
8. Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
9. Travel to additional sites when necessary.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.
• Previous phlebotomy experience.
• Experience in an OBGYN setting is a plus.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation; clean driving record if applicable.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test.
