Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18.
• High School diploma or equivalent may be required dependent on state regulatory requirements.
• Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations.
• DHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprint certification.
• Valid state driver’s license in the state of employment and eligibility for company auto insurance coverage.
• Float positions require travel and flexible hours to cover multiple locations, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Progression through career ladder II-IV is subject to completion of career ladder requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
• Enter specimens properly into the company computer system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing.
• Distribute specimens to the proper analytical area.
• Perform specified analytical testing as assigned and follow Code of Conduct.
