Job summary

The role may float to Brawley and Calexico, with a work schedule from 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, starting as early as 6 AM or finishing as late as 6 PM depending on location. Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens.
• Centrifuge specimens and record maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture processes clearly to patients.
• Match requisition forms to specimen tubes and package specimens for transport.
• Ensure specimens stored at required temperatures and compliant with OSHA/DEP rules.
