Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• 0-2 years of experience in venipuncture in a fast-paced lab/hospital.
• Ability to process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, splitting, freezing.
• Knowledge of OSHA/DEP safety regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood draws with high accuracy and patient care.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures and protocols.
• Explain collection process clearly to patients and staff.
• Ensure accuracy by matching requisitions to tubes and verifying information.
