Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Mount Pleasant, SC. The role is local with a 3-month contract length and potential conversion. Schedule is Mon–Thu 8 AM–5 PM, Fri 8 AM–4 PM.

Pay range is listed as 19 per hour, with compensation based on experience and credentials. The candidate will collect blood samples by venipuncture/capillary methods, process specimens, and enter data accurately.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Years of experience: 1 to 2 years phlebotomy experience.
• Skills: Phlebotomy experience with patients of all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Performs blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups.
• Performs specimen processing and EKG in a safe, accurate, and professional manner.
• Performs order entry; retrieves and verifies patient collection data and patient special notations using appropriate sources.
