Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract in Mount Pleasant, SC, with potential for permanent placement. Primary duties include blood draws, labeling, centrifuging, and maintaining accurate patient and test data. Schedule is Mon-Thu 8AM-5PM, Fri 8AM-4PM.

Qualifications include valid phlebotomy certification as required by state, a minimum of 1 year venipuncture experience, and glucose testing experience. Benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Glucose testing experience preferred.
• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by the state.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
