Job summary

Labcorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing, seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team across Passaic and North Arlington, NJ. The role supports phlebotomy collections, patient service, and data handling in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule: Wednesday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm and the first Saturday of every month 9:00am–5:00pm, with potential travel to other sites. Minimum one year phlebotomy experience; a certification or training from an accredited program is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites when required.
