Job summary

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program with 100 hours of clinical training.
• Strong customer service, multitasking, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections across all age groups with proper technique.
• Draw 12-lead EKGs and ensure accurate sample handling and patient care.
• Utilize Laboratory Information Systems to manage workflows, respond to service requests, and distribute reports.
• Maintain inventory and participate in ongoing education and professional development.
• Document activities accurately to support hospital quality initiatives.
