Job summary

The American Red Cross in Saint Paul, MN is seeking staff to support blood collection at fixed site locations. You will help donors feel welcome while following safety procedures to ensure the lifesaving blood donations reach hospitals.

Candidates should have an Associates degree or equivalent, at least one year of customer service experience, and a valid driver's license. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected, with phlebotomy experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the blood collection process at fixed site locations.
• Create a welcoming and friendly environment so donors feel comfortable returning.
• Follow all safety procedures to ensure donated blood is collected and transfused safely.
